I chair the cross party group on palliative care.

I have persistently raised with the Scottish Government the significant challenges facing both hospices and the sector more generally.

I have also been working with Marie Curie Care and others to seek to entrench a right to palliative care in legislation and hope to use the current National Care Service Bill to progress this cause.

I have also supported the consultation of a colleagues Members Bill on the same matter.
